Cascadia is a non-affiliated DLC for Obsidian Entertainment's Fallout: New Vegas. It takes place at the same time as New Vegas but in the Pacific Northwest. Players take control of a new protagonist, the Messenger, as they arrive in the remains of Seattle, Washington. Their mission is to deliver a single data chip, a vast difference from their usual grocery deliveries, but unfortunately, they're ambushed. Left as defenseless bait for local Yao Guai and with the data chip stolen, the Messenger stumbles into a conspiracy far greater than them.
This project consists of three documents (An Overview, Six Character Folios, and a Narrative Structure Outline) that can be found here. In addition, the project lookbook can be found here, with references here.
For this project, I also created a Twine demo that focuses on the narrative turning point in the game. This demo features all four support characters that the player can choose to take, with branching paths depending on whom you choose.
Ship Date: December 2018
Production Duration: Oct 2019 - Dec 2019
